A nearly 5 mile long railroad tunnel built through the Hoosic Mountain between Florida and North Adams, MA from 1851 to 1875. 2nd longest tunnel in the world at the time it was built. The tunnel is haunted (195 men died). Access is not advisable.

Houghton Mansion

Historic house built in the 1890s by Albert Charles Houghton who was the President of the Arnold Print Works and first Mayor of North Adams. Mr. Houghton and his daughter died due to a car accident in 1914. The building was used as a temple by the Mason society for a time. The building is known to be haunted and has been investigated by several paranormal TV show crews and was for a time open for ghost tours. The property has been sold and is no longer open.

Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association Tabernacle

The Tabernacle is the center of worship for the MVCMA and also a National Historic Landmark. It was built in 1879 as part of the Methodist summer campground for open air Christian revivals. Religious services are still held weekly in July and August. Attendees originally camped in tents, but many later built ornate Gothic-style gingerbread cottages in the late 19th century. The area here is called Trinity Park, Wesleyan Grove, or simply The Campground.
