Yarmouth House is one of the best restaurants in Yarmouth. It's a very large place with plenty of on-site parking. The restaurant was quite busy tonight but we got a table right away. There were many appetizing items on the menu, but I opted for a classic… prime rib of beef a jus. The free bread and oil was ok, but the bread and oil I had at Carrabba's the other night was much better. The salad was ok, but nothing special. My prime rib was barely luke warm, but the flavor and tenderness was excellent. It had the average amount of fat. My wife's baby back ribs came as a large full rack separated into two halves. They were excellent and too much for her to finish. I got french fries instead of mashed potatoes. To be honest, the french fries were lousy. The mashed potatoes were good, but nothing special. The cole slaw that came with the ribs was so-so. Overall the food was better than average. We did not order dessert. Prices are on the expensive side (typical for Cape Cod). Service was good.
