Connecticut Casinos

There are only two casinos in Connecticut: Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. These are two of the largest casinos in the country and have multiple gambling rooms. They are owned by Native American tribes (Mashantucket Pequots and Mohegans). A third casino in East Windsor should open by 2021. Another casino is planned for Bridgeport.

Patrons must be 21 years old for casino gambling or 18 years old for other forms of gambling in Connecticut. Smoking is allowed inside the casinos, but they each have smoke-free gaming areas. There are several off-track betting facilities in Connecticut. State lottery games are available. Limited online wagering is legal. Other Internet gambling, daily fantasy sports, and sports betting may be legalized in the future.
